Apple’s Iphone Consumer Awareness
The anticipation of the launch of Apple’s iPhone has created plenty of buzz. A new survey from Harris Interactive takes a deeper look on what American think about the mother of all mobiles. They found that the iPhone is not yet a household word but that 47
percent of respondents were aware of the product and 17 percent had an interest in buying it, which they noted was impressive for a product that has not yet been released. Read more »

Nokia is set to launch the first WiMAX capable mobile in 2008. The company is also ready to offer its services as a technology partner to Indian cellular operators wishing to set up WiMAX networks. Currently, Nokia has a portfolio of over 20 3G (third generation) handsets and now plans to make several handsets of the NSeries category capable of tapping into a WiMAX network for broadband Internet. Tablet devices such as Nokia N770 are expected to be among the first devices to support WiMAX.
